The A2 Idea!

To discuss the final idea all three of us sat down on windows live messenger to discuss the matter of what project we want to take on, interestingly we all said we want to make a short film and were not keen on making the music video. Now that we had decided what project we were going to take on we then started thinking about how to make it unique and different to what other groups would do but at the same time interesting, after hours of discussion we came to a decision of making an animated movie. This will allow us to do something which we have never done before and more have fun as you can do a lot with animation. Now that is the idea for this Year Yr13 A2 Media studies

A2 - Brainstorming Ideas

This year we had a variety of projects to pick from such as music video, a short film, not an opening sequence which is for 2minutes, ..................................

As a team we sat down to discuss which project we wanted to take on. After going through the choices and seeing what was involved in each project plus the tasks which needed to be completed within the project, we came down to a decision on either making a music video or a film. We first thought that we don’t want to do the film because we have already have had experience on that category and realised acting is not one of our strong points, so to make a good realistic film acting plays a big part, due to that we turned to the music video idea, straight away we started naming songs and artists, surprisingly we were all talking about the songs all of the same genre which we all 3 of us enjoyed, we thought about the video and decided to go on youtube to see what we could find, after a hour and a half we found many music videos which were interesting but then other which were awful due to the lip sync being off lyrics, dancing was not interesting this made us have second thoughts if we do not pull it off we would be in trouble, where as we wanted to do something new and challenge ourselves to stride forward to see what we are capable of getting ready to learn on the go.

We then started looking into short films to see what short films contain, what story lines there are and what message they give to the viewer, after all the research and looking into music videos and short films we all decided to go home and each of us would think carefully about which project we would personally do and then hold another meeting to decide what we will do.

The Next Big Step A2

Fugative Productions is back once again for another creative production year with A2 media studies. After all the hard work which was put into our first year by Blawal and me in media studies, it all payed off as we both managed to get an overall grade B. This year we are we are hoping to aim even higher than last year and achieve excellent results in which ever project we decide to take on.

As you know last year two were people behind the success of Fugative Production, Blawal and I, we worked incredibly hard throughout the year to give you our best final product while learning a lot of new skills and lessons throughout the project. This year we have more than just two members, this year we have a new member joining Fugative Production called Curtis Odoi, as the new media A2 year starts he will start working with us and hopefully together we will reach our goals in succeeding this year.

So New Year, new project, one new member,
Let’s see what challenges Fugative Production
Will face throughout this year.
